poachers these days. I think its why i enjoy the show "Wardens". nothin better than watching a grown man stumble on his words trying to make excuses for why he shot his 30-30 out the window of his truck at a mule deer sitting decoy ahahahha. favorite episode

I got a phone call today. Not sure what can be done. Poaching is bad in my area. Some seem to think shooting bucks from August on is legal....

How do you know it was poached? It could be a legally obtained road kill. Dumping it is illegal but the deer may be perfectly legal.

Was it shot? Can't figure out why anyone would cut the head off a doe? Me either, but it was laying just a few feet away from the body. The straps were cut out, and left to lay... Pretty disrespectful, but Ive never met a poacher who is a stand up fella...

All of your posts still don't mean the deer was poached. People are too quick to jump to conclusions. I know a road kill tag is needed to be legal, but they are not going to leave it on the deer when they dump it and the head being cut off and back straps removed does not mean it was poached. Was the deer shot? Did it have broken bones?

It WAS poached, on my property, its common...let me guess the propane tanks, empty nasal decongestents, batteries, hoses etc...doesnt mean they were cooking meth either

You have 50 boxes of pseudoephedrine, 15 cans of lantern fuel, 10 small coleman propane tanks, burned up levy, coffee filters, and rigged up garden hoses? If so you will look pretty suspicious.
