oggie,
What do you think of the Concorde? I saw it at the ATA show and it sure looked big. The cocking an decocking was neat, but the rep said you have to hold the crossbow a certain way or the gas would freeze up in cold weather.

RR,
Take a look at the Wicked ridge line by TenPoint.
Shoot as many crossbows as you can and let the crossbow PICK YOU.

RR, Take a look at the Wicked ridge line by TenPoint. Shoot as many crossbows as you can and let the crossbow PICK YOU. If I were in the market for a crossbow, I would start with the Wicked Ridge. Looks like a GREAT product and priced right! But like Woody said....shoot as many as you can and let it pick you.

I really like the Concorde but I haven't heard anything about the gas freezing up. It's a little pricey at a $1000 but it is a great idea really like the ability to decock the Xbow

I stopped at BP coming back to Indy from Louisville the other day and shot the Wicked Ridge Warrior. I must say I was highly impressed at the price of $400 (not incl. bolts/ cocking rope). I messed around with the Invader a bit but did no shoot it. I can see advantages and disadvantages to the ACU-52 selfrtracting cocking rope on the Invader. Basically, I decided the Warrior would be the route for me...now to sell a few shotguns .

I shoot the Barnett AVI Predator, it pushes bolts of lightning out at 375 FPS which are are to hard to see in flight without tracer nocks turned on. It is under $750. I plan to take it to northern Saskatchewan this spring and nail a big bruin to the ground with it. Warning, its difficult to find targets that will catch and hold the bolts fired from this beast and the ones that do are difficult to remove them from!

Which is the best crossbow by tenpoint? Wicked Ridge Actually the Wicked Ridge line by Ten Point is not a top of the line bow. They are very nice crossbows and for the price on them ,I feel the best bang for your bucks on the market. I love my WR Invader, it does everything I expected and more, but the top of the line Ten Point is the Carbon Fusion CLS retailing at $1999.99 compared to the $499.00 Wicked Ridge Invader. Ten Point and Wicked Ridge is Like Mathews and the Mission line of bows.
