NOT A "BAD ASS," ...just a deer hunter that has been blessed with really GREAT hunting areas that had PLENTY if deer. Having an "understanding" wife and family sure helped also and the old "being in the right place at the right time" and "making the most of the opportunity" sure helped also. I could have "slept in" many mornings but I opted to head for the stand. CAN'T SHOOT A DEER AT THE HOUSE... GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HUNTING.. Bud Fields Seriously dude... to maintain a 46 year average like THAT, you HAVE to know what you're doing. I have killed 6 or 7 deer in some years. And sure... I lay off a lot of them now... but for numbers like that, you HAVE to be seriously crazy. Just the work involved in that. I am assuming that you do your own butchering and so forth, as it's break a normal guy to pay to have that many processed. Jabba

I am around 36 +/- a couple. Killed my first at age 10 and now 29. Had to take 5-6 years off due to football or it would be more!

i would have to say around 75 give or take. killed my first when i was 11 and have killed every year since then. i would also guess that my dad timex has killed as many or more than bud fields. he has been hunting for 47 years and with all the quota hunts fort knox gun and bow kills and now hunting in 3 states every year it is very possible.

Not sure. Kept good track, until about 10 yrs. ago. Started hunting deer in 1978 and got my 1st, in 1979 with a muzzleloader. Haven't missed a season since, and haven't had a year that I havent killed at least 1 deer. I didn't start until I was about 27, I'm 59 and 3/4 now. A good guess would be 80-85 deer.

That is a regret I have that when I was younger I did not keep a photo album. The last 10 years I always take a picture with the weapon. I then print picture and put in a photo album. Then I put a sticker on outside with the month, date, year.
