Hers the deal tried a diaphragm call for the first time last wknd I dont know how good I sound BUT I got some response no Birds in but response. Also I didnt scare awy or spook squirrel's And we Had deer within 30 Yards and they didnt spook either tails stayed down so does that mean I did ok lol

The best way to know if you were doing good is to go outside, record yourself and listen. You can then compare to turkey sounds. The fact that the wildlife didn't spook is a good sign too.

When I first started I use to go the the Refuge by my house. At the time there was no turkey hunting allowed there so I would not mess anyone up. I would go through the whole thing except without a gun.
