I don't know if the hunting area is under a burn ban like our county, but the people that burn here are subject to a charge for the fire company coming out to put out a fire, even if it is a controlled burn. We got paged out to a controlled burn yesterday. You may want to check with the local sheriff's office to not have a run in with them, and the fire company.
