Let me start out by giving a real apology to any hunter here who I have insulted or stepped on as of late! I am not a jerk at all in real life .I AM A HUNTER ,husband to the same woman for a quarter of a century , father of two fine grown men , a farmer ,and a team leader at a very large factory.
I have been so very angry about the direction that this whole new rules proposal has been going . I like many across this state have been on an all out offensive against the architects and supporters of these anti hunting proposals. I have felt overwhelmed by those who support it at the cost of every hunter in this state and I am sure many of you have as well.
There is no excuse for being rude to others in the same fight because you do not see eye to eye but want the same happy ending .More hunting ,less oppressive rules against any hunting group or individuals, and way way more Hunting opportunity for the animals that turn our individual cranks.
But know this if you are for unnecessary rules or laws that oppress individuals especially the majority of people that are participating in an activity "deer hunting"that has absolutely no bearing or effect on them directly then you either need to change your way of thinking or you will never be any friend of mine I promise and I will not treat you nice in any way .
It is wrong period to step on the lives and hopes of others to get what you want when what they do does not have anything to do with you. And I will defend the rights of others in person or on a web site I will be relentless I will call you out and call you exactly what you are .Because you wrong and a dispicable person.
Do not forget the DNR /NRC is nothing more than " Mitches" big Indiana state Government they are politicians mostly first and they want complete control of every one of us even our recreation time. So they automatically do not have a forthought as to what you want or need, or for the most part common sense they are about money and power !
Enter the stakeholders they are the epitome of power and money they are far removed from the average hunter .They know this and so does the DNR/NRC .Nuff said about why we have this issue we are all dealing with right now.
The point of this post is simple .Deer season is just a mear few weeks away now .It is a time we all enjoy for one reason or another .My reason may not be the same as yours and that is OK . You are welcome to your reasons you hunt as well enjoy it and I mean that from the bottom of my heart .
We seem so preoccupied by this Battle and impending doom that we have seemed to forget that its time to get ready for the woods and stop dwelling on the low parts of this thing now .Go hunting scout . play with your kids watch some football games ,eat laugh and smile . We are all still breathing and the fall air is starting to crackle in the mornings now .
Sure send your letters tell others when they want to listen .But its time to move on with why we are here and "Hunting" is why each one of us are setting here on the computer now. So I know this thing was effecting me in ways I did not realize but life is too short so live now fight when we need to but this process is long we could do nothing more until hunting season and there will still be more fight and plenty of time to tango with the establishment about the loss of hunting .
And by the way some will disagree and that is OK but this group of proposals is oppressive and Anti hunting based since any policy or groups who support loss of any hunting are by definition anti hunters and anti hunting .
So fight the fight your way but its time to enjoy life and hunt now .Good luck and good hunting enjoy life now later may be too late.
