This forum was for the "free" land swaps...
Maybe we need another forum or a sub-forum of the classifieds for the purpose of hunting leases/land sales?

Yes, but those aren't the only ones. Seems like the original intent of the forum has been lost with so many lease postings....

OK.....there are several posts here from folks looking for a lease, so why not post available leases here? When some leases land or a spot in a hunting club, they aren't selling anything. Some are swaping hunting rights for money.....not much different than swapping hunting rights for anything of value....which would fit the heading of this section - Swap hunts. It's also listed as Hunting Ground Offers - which fit to a tee the 3 posts that where removed.
I don't really care that they we're moved, but more so that someone living in N.H. would even care about somebody in Indiana trying to find a good place to hunt not matter if it takes money or some other form of barter.

I haven't always lived in NH.  In fact, the vast majority of my membership time on this board was in IN. I'm not knocking anyone posting leases or trying to find a lease, but merely pointing out what the heading of this forum states on the main page. It's Woody's rules, I play by them as best as I can. |

The "Hunting Ground Offers" part of the this section title is exactly how I read it...I'll be at fault for not reading the fine print-don't always have my reading glasses with me when I'm running through the threads  As for the NH comment-Danf was born, raised and grew up a Boilermaker and was pretty close to one of the charter members on this site-I think that more than gives him the right to make suggestions here. If the people that I "talk" to the on South Carolina site that I frequent (scoutdooradventures.com) had the same feelings as the person above I would have left that site a long time ago-again just my two cents worth..... |
