Atta Boy Tickman! Owen county? But of course, about 3 miles west of Spencer.... ;D We came through there Friday in the rain on I think Pottersville Rd. (sound right?) and there were birds stacked in every field clear to Spencer.

No problem danf, I was not using a decoy and touched off the left side of the box call a couple times to let this bird, 150 yards away strutting, know where I was and shut up. I was located on a fence corner seperating two big fields using the woods and an Ameristep Intimidator ground blind for cover. After about 5 more minutes of strutting the bird turned my way and started coming. Took him at 15 yards as he attemtped to walk by the corner to the other field. I've had a smile on my face ever since. Thanks for the call!
