So finally rounded up all of my components, settled in on a load and had an opportunity to do some field testing with the new rifle. This is a wildcat cartridge, that falls within Indiana legal requirements. 100 yards .5" (you can put them in the same hole) 150 yards -2.0" 200 yards - 8.5" 250 yards - 16.5" 300 yards -29" Groups remained pretty tight even at the longest ranges, however she is running out of gas fast. Looks to me like this is going to be a sweet rifle, and so long as I have my laser range finder on hand, 250 yards shots should not be a problem. Beats the heck out of any shotgun or muzzle loader in a lot of respects, and recoil isn't bad at all. Looking forward to stacking up some venison with this rig.

Thinking we should be getting 2400-2500 FPS, but have not chronographed it.
