We don't really need any firewood, there's plenty on the property already.

How about the "1st HI Youth Season Deer Hunting Contest" 2 Teams of 5 or 5 teams of 2. I think that the competition among the youth & the mentors would add some fun & good spirited trash talk to the camp! Score em just like us old guys & gals........

Not sure I want to start out new hunters in a competition, unless it would just be a prize or two for the biggest does or something like that.

Unfortunately, Toyota won't let me outa work early that friday. So we will be coming up that friday around 6ish. I was wondering if there would be a chance of doing some scouting, or finding a place for a stand, before that weekend comes around?

Yes, but stop in at the trailer and someone will show you the stands we have up and how to get to the areas you want to look out. You might just want to glass from the levee or the main road. You work at the plant in Princeton??

That sounds great Tom. We may end up using one of your current stand locations. But i'd like to get an idea on how to get to one of them in the dark! lol
Just outa curiousity, does someone live at this trailer? And if so, should they know in advance that i will be coming?
And yes i work at the Princeton plant.

All,
This board had been hidden for awhile as the organizers, helpers, and mentors sorted things out.
As you can see we are well on our way in the planning stages.
I've opened it up so that if ANYONE has any input they can now do so.
Thanks.

How about some stick-on name tags.
