I finally got my new scope on and sent a few rounds down range today. ;D This round is a pleasure to shoot because of the light recoil and report. I think it has great potential for accuracy as well, and I look forward to spending a serious amount of time at the range when the weather cools off a bit.

I came real close to getting a 7mm-08 for my Encore, but got the .243 instead. And still think that I want one, but I have a .358 BFG project that I'm in the process of gathering funds for. So many toys, not enough time,  dbd870....... ;D |

I was actually going to go with the .243 at one time, but the larger 7mm made me feel a bit better and I worked out a good trade for it. I am hopeful that I will get a chance to see it perform on game.

Looks like it is going to be a nice and cool weekend. What bullet are you useing in your 7mm-08?
