Here is something I thought of ( Though I'm sure it's been done before) that I thought I'd share. This is an option for concealment where keeping a gun out of sight but handy is the suitable option. Of course ALWAYS keep firearms out of the reach of children. I took an old basket someone sent a valentines display in and fitted a piece of craft foam into the bottom. Into this I pressed the outline of a 38 revolver. I whittled a bit for a perfect fit, and then covered the foam in duct tape for a smooth fit. ( use number 3000 for duct tape!) I arranged the fit so the gun would sit handle -up. I then took some green craft foam, cut it to fit snug-but-not-too-snug over the revolver. I cut an indent in the bottom to accomodate the revolver. Around the top I stuck a bunch of cheap artificial flowers, using hot glue to put them in place and elmers to secure them better. I'm going to put a "pull rope" loop through the top, just to make popping the flowers out that much easier, although it probably isn't needed. To the uninformed it merely looks like a tacky flower display, but we know better. i55.photobucket.com/albums/g160/Klemford/gunboquet2012.jpg[/IMG]

as good as my wall clock - or wall "Glock"....it has a magnetic latch but there is a hidden space behind the clock to hide a pistol...love sneaky places to hide our little toys
