I just went out for a little while tonight and found 8. I didn't really think I would find any, so I was surprised when I found that little batch.

Lady here at school found 22 in Brownstown. My woods always produces late for some reason. My asparagus is really doing well and it needs to warm up so I can plant my tomatoes. I have a couple of plants here at school that are close to 3 feet tall with blooms on them.

My asparagus is doing well and my shroons are always late too. Can't get enough fresh asparagus, Wally world has it for $1.50 a pound so we will be pigging out.

I remember 4 years ago when I ordered my asparagus I had know idea what was involved with planting it. I thought dig a little hole and throw it in so I ordered 50 roots. I get them and read the directions and I have to dig 50 holes 8-10 inches wide and about the same deep. Man that sucked but now it is paying off.

Something I learned the hard way don't use horse poop to build your mounds it will burn them up. Use compost or dirt with cow poo.

We found 10 blacks on Thursday in Ft.Wayne. Always find them in the same spot early. I hope it doesn't get too hot too fast. You southern boys are at least 2-3 weeks ahead of us up north. We are already planning our Minnesota trip. Can't wait!!! We need a shroom contest on here.
