Woody, how long you keeping this open? I didn't score in IN but I am heading to PA this week. Let's go until May 25th. That should give plenty of time for everyone to get their birds in. We would not want to leave anyone out. Good luck in PA

28 birds so far with two days left.
That is a success rate of 40%.
I've read somewhere where 25% success on turkeys in Indiana is the going rate, so I'd say we've done good. Up to 30 birds at 43% success... I know of at least two that have not been posted..

Gobblerstopper is he one of them? I talked to Gobblestopper at work yesterday and he had a very successful hunt in Nebraska. Hopefully he will post some pics soon.

Since there were only 5 days between the KY and Indiana season this year and I had to work 4 of them, I didn't buy a KY tag and didn't get a chance to hunt until my week off. The first half of which was spent in western Nebraska chasing merriams. My buddy and I did pretty well and heard a pile of birds. Probably between 25-35 each morning. My first bird was actually the best bird I have killed in a couple of years and great for a merriam. 24.5 pounds 1 1/8" & 1 1/4" spurs 9 1/2" beard Score: 24.5 + 11.25 + 12.5 + 19 = 67.25 ![](http://www.kaiserkalls.com/Merriamsingle.jpg) SCORED...

oggie,
There is no problem with the size of your bird. I'm just glad to see that you got one. They are not the easiest things to kill. congrats on the nice bird..
