I may have seen that buck, or one about that big on the other side of Fincastle last season. Didn't get a good look at it (it was raining, was following a car and had one coming at me so my attention was elsewhere and I didn't see it until I was past it), but it was BIG, had long tines like that.
You from around that area? I live a mile south of Fincastle and 1/2 mile off 231.

However, it seems to be much harder to keep people out than it is to get them to come in!!  This past saturday I arrived to see 9 people standing next to four trucks. We try to allow as much hunting as safely possible but that was a little over board!!  They now find themselves looking for a place to hunt the shotgun season. |

They now find themselves looking for a place to hunt the shotgun season.
