How many have to buy additional tags because they didn't get a buck during firearms?

I filled mine for the first time since 1999! Usually I get a deer or two with a bow and get lazy during gun season, but I really went after it this year.

I took a Buck with my Bow. I also have an LTL.

For whatever reason I have only killed deer with a bow. Firearms season has never gone well or been real enjoyable to me. I like muzzleloader season more, but not quite as much as the early bow season. I nailed a doe with a bow in October and I am also a LTL holder.

The last two years I've had very poor luck during deer season. Not sure if I'll buy a ML license or not. I still have a bonus county tag and may just hunt with that.

No. Seen 3 bucks in range but nothing worth putting a tag on. All were little small 4 and 6 pointers. Did not see near as many deer as normal either. One of the worst gun seasons for me in at least 6 years. I did fill my bonus tag on wednesday by taking a nice doe up north while hunting my buddies place.
I'll give er a try with the muzzy too, hopefully the late season is a little better then what i have seen so far.

Nope. But then I didn't buy one. Don't need one to use my PCR on the Park Hunt. My ML or Archery tag is sufficient...  |

I have a LFL also. I shot a couple does and and passed on a few bucks.

Nope, didn't fill it.... Made the right choice (in mind mind- though I'm still thinking about it!) yesterday to NOT pull the trigger on a SHOOTER buck at ~200 yards with the 20 gauge.  I've still got my archery tag, if I can get a chance I'll get out with the bow. I'm thinking about asking to borrow dadfsr's old ML and hunt my land here at home..... |
