I dropped a doe within 15 yards using G5 Tekans. Switched to a little more old school this year and went to Magnus Stingers, 4 blade, 100 grain. I was surprised they flew just like my field points, even with the large 2 blade, 2 bleeder blade design. 60 lbs. draw.

I love these G5 Strikers in 125gr. They fly great and are probably the sharpest thing that I have ever handled. I didn't know it was possible to create something this sharp. I like Muzzys too. No mechanicals for me. Too many variables and parts.

This year i am using the Premier Rocky MTN. Broadheads. The first weekend of bow season i shot a botton buck at 30 yards. I am only shooting 45 pounds and my arrow went all the way through him. He only ran about 35 yards and fell down dead. They have some sharp blades on them.

Magnus, I was using Thunderheads but became concerned with penetration since I'm shooting a 50# trad.

I use the Vortex 100 grain expandable. Every deer I have hit with his broadhead I have found 80 yards or less from my stand. I here good things about Rage expandable, but I did not want to drop $40 on a new broadhead especially since I'm happy with the one I use today. Vortex are around $28 and come in 75, 100, and 125 grain.

My experience: -Muzzy 4 blade 100 gr - 45 lb draw - small doe quartering to me, 20 yard shot, entered in the last few ribs (lung/liver shot), broke the far rear leg (femur). Ran about 70 yards and expired. -Muzzy 4 blade 100 gr -45 lb draw - small buck broadside, 20 yard shot, entered and exited ribs, arrow stopped at the fletching and was pulled all the way out by the broadhead catching nearby limbs. Deer went 60 or so yards and expired. -NAP Spitfire mechanical - 100 gr - 50 lb draw - doe slight quartering towards, 20 yards shot, ran 40 yards and dropped. Rib entry, huge exit wound, but not a complete pass through; Entrails were "grabbed" and pushed out of the exit wound. One of the 3 blades looked like it had never opened (covered in hair and fat). --NAP Spitfire mechanical - 100 gr - 50 lb draw - biggest deer I had ever seen (easy P&Y), 20 yard shot, no pass through. Left the area at 6pm, came back at 9pm to look for blood; Found the begining of a blood trail about 20 yards from the hit and backed out and waited til morning. Next morning followed blood trail 1/4 mile, with last half on my hands and knees until it petered out.
Went back to Muzzy this year.
