So how is it coming with this "project" dog?

It is going great! I am very pleased. Couldn't ask for a better dog. I luv working with him. I am just trying to make sure I am doing everything correct. Gunner is now 8 wks old today(june 1st). I have him sleeping all through the night and he no longer has mistakes in the house. As far as hunting goes, He will sit when I ask ( as long as I keep his attention).And he will fetch but doesn't always want to give it back to me.I guess that is the puppy in him. Not to brag him up to bad but I have been taking him down to the creek and throwing some sticks across to the other side where he can see it. He runs right in the water and brings it back.I luv it. Everyones help has helped me in making it easier in doing the right things. I hope it will soon pay off with a funfilled companion and a devoted friend and hunter as well. I truly don't know what I would do without him.So far I am loving it.

They are sooo much fun at this age,, its like having a new baby in the house all over again!!!!
