Yes i know its waaaaay early.... but now that my turkey seasons pretty much over ... i gotta start thinkin about somethin. With the pintail clumsily falling into my lap last year.... my ONGOING goal again will be for the evidently, ever so elusive.. drake widgeon. I do also belive it should be my time for a BAND!!!!... i mean how many does a guy have to shoot before he can get another one? Irregaurdless.... somehow i am already thinkin about a flock of mallards rockin' into the decoys on a calm cool morning...... Maybe im wierd perhaps  |

I need a Pintail, Wigeon and a Black duck. I get about 1 band a year. I like to try to hunt with different people this year. maybe a river hunt with Pigeon.  |

He dose find birds. What few that are up here and always has a good story to go with them. I think it would be fun but i haven't taken my pills today.  |

I remember going to BPS last summer for a waterfowl calling seminar.. I walk in the door and look at the faces,, do a quick turn to get a seat in the back and some DUDE say's "I know you,, you are PIGEON...."
Turn around and look and the guy says,, "I am double dragon!!"
Heck ya,, its a SMALL WORLD!!!! ;D ;D ;D

My goal(s) are: to shoot better (since I just bought a new SBE II ) and to learn to call geese better w/my TG Supermags (wood & acrylic) ;D! I've already killed drake: Pintail, Redhead, Can, Wigeon, Lesser Bluebill, Ringneck, Woodie, Gadwall & Ruddy ducks. Non were mounted, though eaten! ;D |

Mine is to possibly get out there and see what this thing you guys call waterfowling is all about. I keep saying I am going to get into it and then something else comes up and I am unable to go. Maybe this will be the year.

I have 3 pretty big goals for the upcoming seasons.
(1) Have good hunt in Canada.
My dad and I are going to Manitoba the first week of October for a 3 day hunt. It's pricey but my dad is sooo excited about it. I am looking forward to going but he's really stoked and counting the days. I want to get up there, have a good time and shoot some limits!
(2) Find some good spots close to me to hunt. I've been in this county going on 4 years and I still don't have a local place to hunt birds. Not having a boat hurts. But I think there has to be some decent places around here for guys like me... (anyone in Kosciusko County looking for a partner?) So I want to find me some spots.
(3) Kill something worthy of mounting. I've only shot mallards and geese up till now. I want a nice looking woody or pintail or just something cool.
