considering the liability of having armed people on airport proprty huntying, are you surprised the dont allow hunting? By hiring professional wildlife control operators(that have million or more in liability insurance) their butts are covered. Do you want your plane( or the one your child, wife, mother whatever) having a run in with a deer on the runway? Come on people, wake up! The actual airport where airplanes land and take off is surrounded by a very high fence, I am not talking about the land inside the fence, the runways and such. I am sure if a deer were to get inside the fence it would be taken out very quickly, as it should be. I am talking about the thousands of acre the airport owns outside the fence, to the west out to Planifield and south down to Mooresville.

If you truly want to know who controls what then contact the airport authority and I'm sure some one there can tell you all about it. h.h.
