Hello everyone, I am new to this site. never actually heard of it so a fellow hunter from another site invited me over. I am good at trying new things if it interests me. Just recently I became chairwoman for our local chapter of Whitetails Unlimited. It is the first year for this event and I am very excited. Our chapter consists of Fayette,Union and Franklin counties.Although our Banquet isn't going to be held until this fall I am trying to get the word out that one is coming soon to your area. As I have a true passion for the outdoors, I wanted to give back to our community by bring this event to our area. To educate the young ones and fellow women that there is a true passion in this sport. Onto a little about me. I have a wonderful husband that makes me who I am. He also is a dedicated hunter(more so than I am)WE together enjoy hunting turkeys and whitetails. And a few in between. WE both have the passion for bowhunting. Thus we have been able to pass it on to our 9 yr old son. He has been able to harvest 3 deer and 13 squirrels since the age of 7. To end this ( because I could type forever about hunting) It is nice to meet everyone on this site and if any one is interested in tickets to our chapter banquet feel free to contact me through this website. Welcome, welcome, welcome! So nice to have you. We need a little more of a "feminine influence" over here (I'm sick of pulling my weight on that one)! Well yall are so nice. I don't know 'bout everyone else but I am gettin' fired up. A little less than 22 days and we'll be baggin' some big ol' longbeards. I didn't get to harvest one last year so I am hopin' to get one this year. The only chance I had last year, I had our little boy with us and I let him take the shot instead of me. With a few already under my belt, I really wanted him to get it .(being his first year and all) Sadly he just missed. Oh well .We'll have some fun this year good luck to all. and thanks for the great welcome! Michelle
