Howdy, all! I'm a Hoosier-in-exile; I've been living in NM for the past 19 years. My brothers, sister and mom still live in IN, though, along with untold numbers of friends. I grew up outside West Lafayette, went to high school in Benton County, and went to IU Bloomington for undergrad. Glad to see this forum up, and look forward to spending time here. Have a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich for me - can't get them out here in the desert.

Glad you're a fellow IU Bloomington alumnus (go Hoosiers!), and glad to have you on board! New Mexico is absolutely beautiful--enjoy the stinking hot weather (grew up in San Antonio--I know!!) and beautiful surroundings, and we'll enjoy the breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches for you!!

Well, this is something new for me but I hope it goes well ! I am a very recently retired teacher and I do not get much time fore desk activities like this except in the winter after hunting is over. I have lived and hunted in several states but have been in IN since '77. I am going to try to expand my big game species and the area to hunt small game. I am particularly interested in hunting Indiana hogs.

Just became a member. I am 36 yrs old and I live in Southeastern Indiana in Ripley County. I do most of my hunting near the Ripley County Jefferson County line. I have been deerhunting since I was a young teen but the first few years I lived and hunted in Decatur County. At that time none of my family new much about deer hunting and there wasn't a lot of deer where I was hunting. I started hunting hard and serious in the past 5 or 6 years I hunt all seasons I can't get enough of it. I have killed a couple that I hung on the wall but nothing really big. I believe I am ready to start hunting for the big boys. I believe I will still have to pop a couple does every year though because we just love venison. I am fortunate enough to have a wife who likes to bowhunt with me but she gives it up when the guns start going off. She doesn't like the cold weather.
