Schoolmaster and I hunted Roush Lake today and should have stayed home. We ended up having to sit in the sun for 4 hours and killed 6 dove between the two of us. We got sunburned. Just was not any birds where we were and there wasn't a lot of shooting around us. Hope you all had a better day than we did. h.h.

We were at Salamonie with pick 82. Draw wasn't even over by Noon. Our field stunk. We left after an hour. At least I got a couple geese in the morning.

My buddy and I went to the draw at Glendale on Saturday. While the fields had looked fair in the weeks leading up to the opener, they pulled in a lot of birds. Of the 5 guys hunting in our field, all limited by the 6 pm stopping time.
Good news is that I managed to finally put names and faces together for HH members: Chucker, danthebluegrassman and yote!
