I love to hunt doves and me and the kids are trying to pick a place to put in for this year?I live in extreme southern Indiana but am willing to drive to a good area.
We have hunted Hardy.Glendale and Patoka before, but I want info on ALL the places?Which one is tops for numbers of doves?Any and all info about any of these places would be greatly appreciated.
Also any info on private hunts would be more than welcome thanks Chuck

Dove hunting at most of the properties is a hit - miss thing. Sometimes they are there and sometimes the are not. Ive seen opening days with very few birds killed and others where everyone had a limit. Lot depends on weather and quality of flowers. I'm lucky i live just a few miles from two state run hunts and can usually make it in one or the other as a standby hunter if not drawn. h.h.

I've had some of my best shooting on land thats under development or recently completed. The more bare ground, the better. If you see a project underway, try and get permission.
