A friend hunted last week in Ashland County, Wi. They had to cut the trip a day short because of six inches of snow. In three days five guys bagged a total of 26 birds. He said the birds were everywhere. They walked trails and didn't have dogs. The foliage is all gone and the birds are disbursed. We leave in the morning for a 3 day hunt. Can't wait to get the dogs on the ground. Our group is five guys and four dogs. I'll let you know what it is like.
