Well went over to the Res. office today to get a dove map and the lady there told me that the sunflowers have not been knocked down yet because the flock has not migrated down here from up north. She wasn't sure when the sunflowers would be knocked down. I checked several fields and the ragweeds were higher than the sunflowers and made them very hard to see. The rules that I picked up for the Salamonie hunt has hand written in that hunters will be limited to 50 shotshells. From the way things are shaping up 50 may well be plenty.
