Nice track Mike...funny but i was out putting up a stand and saw a track in some dirt and i thought to myself, wow that is just ABOUT the size of HH track pic.......nice plot too Thanks John, If you notice in the picture theres a big patch of green, well thats where I started to seed with the hand seeder and opened the control valve to big and the first couple of cranks of the handle spread too much seed before I caught it and closed it down. The seeds are real small so you have to be careful. I mixed the clovers seeds in with fertilizer and spread it with my 4 wheeler. There will be a nice stand of clover in this plot next spring, summer. The other plot is a little taller because its in a shaded area, along a ditch and stays wetter. I'm not planning on hunting this plot until gun season. Ive got 3 other stands for bow hunting. h..

I mowed my clover plot today. It really looked nice with all the rain we've had lately. There were not to many weeds and they weren't very tall. The deer are using the clover a lot right now. There were several spots that were ate down close to the ground.
Tomorrow I'm going to the feed store and get a bag of 0-20-20 fertilizer and spread it on the clover.
My fall food plots are three weeks old and looking good! There is a monster deer track in it again. I just hope that big boy hangs around when deer season in. h.h.
