Feel free to ask!
I'll admit it- I'm nowhere close to a forage expert so I can't help you much with what you should choose for food plots.
However, I did spend 4 years at Purdue studying Horticulture, so I do know a thing or two about planting practices and pesticides.
I'm also a licensed and certified pesticide applicator, so if you need help with herbicides I can at least help you interpret a label if I'm not otherwise familiar with it....

A good healthy dose of 4 college guys equipped with .22's.
Combine that with a missed fire run, falling in the creek, a disgusted housewife, an uncle flying across the field, and you've got a recipe for a night that will be discussed for years to come!!! ;D

Yeah, and that's only 1/2 of the story. The other half can't be told on an open forum!!! ;D

Dan
I planted chicory and clover. Planted too much chicory. Anyway what can I get to kill grass other than arrest? I will kill broad leaf next spring. Also I want to fertilize in September something like 0-20-20 , 0-0-46. What do I need?
This is just west of the old JD dealership and over the Dunbar bridge in Greencastle. Stop by sometime and check it out.
I will be there on Saturday working on a stand over looking the plot.
Thanks
Bill

If you can find it, Poast will work, as will Fusilade. I haven't used Poast in a LONG time, but you will need a surfactant (non-ionic) with the Fusilade.
We use Fusilade at work and it does a decent job, just don't expect an overnight kill. I think you could possibly find either one at TSC or if you are in Greencastle, Butler's on the south side should have something. You'll probably find a MUCH bigger bottle than what you need!
Do you know Brian Penley? I think he's out in that area somewhere... I think Saturday Dad and I will be on the Walnut north of 36 somewhere fishing.
BTW, I don't think you can have too much chicory based on what I've seen with my plots. The deer will absolutely eat it to the ground in September/October!

Thanks for the reply.
I'll lay on the horn as I cross over Big Walnut Saturday.
