56 blacks and 2 grays found in Sullivan county (near Shelburne) yesterday the 11th. Found them in 4 spots where they seemed to be coming up very plentiful (if that makes any sense). I think we are in for a fantastic season if the cold will keep away.

Looked pretty hard yesterday here in Porter County. I'm sure they are trying to sprout. Hopefully this rain helped.

Just got back from Patoka Lake. They are finding the yellow sponge (morels) in the park and lots of them. Take lots of bug spray if you hunt them. Ticks are very bad this year !

I know the guys were finding them in and around the campground but around my place the only thing we are finding are ticks, lots of ticks.

Went out Sunday morning in the monsoon & found almost 50 yellows. I like hunting them in rain, as it is easier to spot their white stalks.

Went out to "The Secret Spots" at Potato Creek State Park Tuesday evening and Yesterday. Brought home about 300 Yellow Sponge Morels and a few Greys. Nice size, got about 20 or 30 that were big enuff to trip a feller (10-12").
