The bucks are very nice. It looks as though three of the bucks have the same deep red coloration while the other two are grey. Is this true or a cause of photography and lighting. Also, just curious....rough or official....what did the bucks score?

Very Nice Collection, Woody!! ;D My largest Whitetail Buck, which I got in Vanderburgh County, back in 2001, was a 9-pointer that weighed 230 pounds. I think it was the largest one taken that particular year in Vanderburgh Co.

The bucks are very nice. It looks as though three of the bucks have the same deep red coloration while the other two are grey. Is this true or a cause of photography and lighting. Also, just curious....rough or official....what did the bucks score? That is the coloration of them. A lot of the bucks in our area are reddish brown. I've only put a tape on two of the bucks. The second from the left is a ten that netted 154. The first one on the right is an eight that netted 141. He would have scored better but his left G2 is birfurcated like a mule deer. Scores don't really matter to me. If it is a good full mature deer I'll usually take him. Example - The buck on the extreme left wont score but maybe 120 as he has a non-typical right G2 that has three points coming from a common base. Great deer, just doesn't score well.

If I didn't know better I would think you were just trying to intimidate your competitors in the deer hunting contest. ;D

If I didn't know better I would think you were just trying to intimidate your competitors in the deer hunting contest. ;D I don't think this bunch will roll over and play dead because of a few pictures of dead deer. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Besides, I know of one guy in this contest this year that would have won last year's contest ALL BY HIMSELF.. I guess I could have put a fix in and drew him for a partner, but as soon as he started posting pitures the jig would have been up.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
