Text for the Day -- Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come into his presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures for ever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
Devotional

Two things inspire worship that is joyful and thankful. One is the
knowledge that God has created us for fellowship and life with him.
We are God's own. Secondly, thanksgiving flows into praise as we
become aware of and experience God's steadfast love and faithfulness.
Keep your eyes open to these acts of God in your life so that your
worship can reach the heights described by the psalmist.

Holy Spirit, bring to my mind the acts of God's love for me so that I
may praise God in joy. Amen
