I go in for a spinal tap Tuesday morning at 11:30.Keep me in your thoughts if you would . We sure will. My daughter just went through that and the main thing is - LAY VERY FLAT AND STILL FOR THE TIME THEY TELL YOU TO. She didn't (takes after her momma) and ended up having some pain problems. That has been corrected now though. Good luck and keep us informed..

BUMMER!! Speaking from experience. Please pay attention to what the surgeon tells you about what you should & should not do. There is no injury more painful & lingering than damage to the very sensitive nerves in your back & hips. You can't walk, set, or lay down without pain. Pain killers just take the edge off, but not all of the pain. Take care & good luck.

It could have went better. After 3 or 4 tries in different places and angles he said he couldn't do it.My spine is all fused together with arthritis and all he kept hitting was bone. They're going to set me up an appointment at ParkView Hospital where they'll use an x-ray and dye while they do it to guide them through. As sore as I am today I'm really not looking foward to going through it again .

Wow...
That is too bad.
Hopefully the xray and dye will allow them to do a LOT better job.
Keep us informed.
