I have fished there alot. The bass fishing is getting better but still not what it once was. Still a 20 inch limit on bass. Crankbaits and rattletraps are hard to beat right now.
You can catch channel catfish all day long there. It is overstocked with them and they want you to keep all you catch. They will hit anything you throw in there.
Now is the time to crappie fish there. There are some slabs in there but are hard to find.
The last few years they have been sinking brush piles and structure to help the fish. They also have been restocking bass. Good luck.

i use to fish it years ago right after it opened up from the mid 80's to mid 90's. the only bad thing for me was its a 200 mile drive one way. on a couple of days i caught over a 100 bass between 2-3lbs. one day i caught so many that my arm hurt. they last time i fished there it cost 3.00 a day per person. i always bass fished but did see lots of boats crappie and bluegill fishing. it use to be one of the best bass lakes in Indiana. h.h.
