What are your best days fishing? My nimber one is when I was 15 years old my cousin and I lived, breathed, ate and slept bass fishing, well one morning at my grandma's lake place on Story Lake, I caught an honest goodness 5+ pounder! I was thrilled to say the least! I was a big deal that day at the trailer park!! Great memories!

Growing up in Pennsylvania and trout fishing the mountain streams. Since I've moved it has to be the fishing I've done in Canada. It's probably been about 20 years since I've bought a fishing license for Indiana. I've not done any fishing here either since I've had my last license.

My brother & I used to spend a week of camping, fishing, & mushroom hunting each spring at the Greene - Sullivan strip pits. Man, it was great. Would have made for some interesting clips for "The Man Show".

Hard to beat Canada for #s and overall experience.
Indiana fishing, I would have to say a few crappie trips, catching gills off the beds, running trot lines, catching big old carp with my dad when I was little, then dragging them back to fertilize the garden with, catfishing with my best bud from highschool. Oh yea electrofishing, gill netting, and trawling were pretty cool too.
It's tough to just narrow it down. Can't wait till my kid and future kid get big enough to want to go fishing. I have a feeling those will soon be my favorite memories.

My most memorable fishing trips all three envolved myself and my mom. The first one was when I was 6 and landed my first 5 lb. bass. My mom and I were fishing from the bank for bluegill with crickets and could see her sitting out there. I brought the cricket across in front of her and she grabbed it. Next thing I knew, my mom was in the water with the bass in her hands. The second one would be when my brother hooked my mom in the side of the nose with a Tiny Torpedo. That was a mess!! The most recent would have been several years ago in Canada. I hooked a 47 1/2" muskie with my mom and now wife in the boat with me. Getting a fish that big in the boat with two women on board that know nothing about big fish is a lot of fun. ;D

I'm with Deertracks. Some of the best fishing I've ever had has been at the pits around Linton & Dugger. Man, I just love filling a cooler up with big gills, red ears & crappie.

hey guys , my best times were wading creeks for smallmouth bass, tripping and almost falling over the the rocks and some times landing a two pounder on the first cast into a hole way back in there. my biggest smallmouth is 3#5 ounces-21 inches long ,boy what a fight.done that for years, just wanted to see what was around the next bend, lots of fun. turkey scout

Best day fishing was helping with a kid's fishing derby put on by my church a few years back. The excitement on their faces over a tiny bluegill reminded me of why I fish.

Should be some good times this summer. I bought a "Tigger" fishing pole to give to me soon-to-be 3 year-old for her birthday next month. We've got a smallish pond (~3/4 of an acre) pretty much out our back door, so we can go just about any time we want.
Aside from looking forward to that, I'd say the best times fishing were either last summer when Dad and I hit the Big Walnut Creek via canoe (twice- we wised up on what was do-able for one day the second time out!), or when we used to go up to Lake Michigan and charter a boat for salmon.
