I voted for the Linders, they know their sh**!! In-Fisherman used to be my favorite, until the Linders quit. Now it sucks!

I remember that show, it was on ESPN and he frequently fished for smallies out east. I do love smallmouth fishing! What about Virgil Ward, there's an oldie but a goodie. He always had that fish tank he demonstrated lures in. As a kid he convinced me that the lures he was selling, beetle spins and Johnson Silver Minnos, I believe, were the best. lol

I always liked Billy Westmoreland. He loved to catch those old brown bass. He would spend a lot of time catching gills and crappies too. After that Jerry McGinnis and Bill Dance. I don't watch the bass shows as those guys act like TN, yuck.

I have always enjoyed Hank Parker with his laid-back style & presentation.

I agree with Raporter. Billy was the man. But I always like Jimmy Huston, that is no lie. He even made his way to Anderson back around 1990. I really can't handle watching any of them anymore. I have to be really sick and not want to move off the couch!

When I was in High School, my family was taking a vaction at Dale Hollow, and I wrote Billy Westmoreland a letter asking for fishing advice. He wrote me back a 2 page letter giving lure choices, locations, depths etc. He was a great guy! I'm sure he's missed. The success we had on that trip was due in part to him taking the time to reply to a 13 years olds questions. He is a big reason I love smallmouth so much.

Babe Winkleman is my old school growing up show. He was an '80's kind of guy. I miss Fish Fishburne's show. That guy made me laugh. Hank Parker is one of my favorites now, and the one with girls in bikinis.

Had to vote for Al Linders. Hey I like the Jerry Mckinnes show too. Up the Fishing Hole, he used to go down around Bloomington and go gill fishing with Bob Knight. Loved that little mini Docsy he had. I had one too but I would not have dared to take him fishing. He would have baled out of the boat to chase the lures. Some one kind of got him to chase the practice plugs in the back yard because it was fun to watch him. He was my little buddy.
