I do not fish for largemouth that often however I am totally hooked on wading creeks and streams with ultalight equipment for smallies. I have 6lb mono on almost all my spools.

I needed to select more than one.
I use heavier line when fishing a short pole in rivers or streams. Especialy if I am in Northern Pike territory.
If I'm finessing a rubber worm I go with a longer pole and lighter line.
That is unless I'm using ultralite equipment.
For the most part 10lb Excel works great.

12 lb. I set the hook "hard" & fish some pretty gnarly structure.

Different weight for different conditions. BUT you can be pretty sure it will be Fire Line.
