I just came back from checking my Cuddeback...After getting half way through the pics I came across this guy...I'm fired up and can't wait for season to get here...I know of 2 more bucks bigger than this one,I hope they come by the camera...The clip is not the best but you can see his size... You may have to pause the clip.then slide the bar to see if half way decent. smg.photobucket.com/albums/v507/db1862/?action=view¤t=46e1c47c.flv

After many days of user reviews on various web sites, I decided to go with the Moultrie D40. This unit does not have the temp or moon phase, but it does indicate time and date, which is most important for my scouting. I can always look at past weather patterns and moon phases. I read many good reviews about this unit. My main concern was trigger speed and according to many reviews I read, the trigger speed has been much improved from their older models. They are due here tuesday and hopefully I will have some pics to post within the next couple weeks!!

Please give us a review of these cameras. I have been considering the same camera. I previously bought a Moultrie digital that was junk. It took forever to trigger (that was a couple years ago).
I've read the reviews and seen some pictures and they do sound like they are much better. But I am still not convinced. The manual says when the camera is inactive for two minutes, it takes a couple of seconds to wake it up before taking a picture. (or something like that)
That might be ok, I don't know. I just hate taking another chance and wasting money.

I hear ya. I had a moultrie game spy 200 that took some pretty good pics. The downfall was the fact that you had to pass the trigger twice before it would actually capture a picture. I will definitely add pics and give my feedback about these units once I get them in the woods.
