I was in the woods behind my house this evening and came across this small fawn. Something brown caught my eye and so I walked over for a closer inspection and could tell it was moving and as I walked closer it stuck it's head up. I decided not to get any closer to it so I zoomed in with the camera to get a closer shot of it. About 15 feet from this fawn laid a nest of turkey eggs but no hen in sight. It was really neat to find them so close together.   |
