I got one of those cheapo digital trail cams from Menards for Christmas. I just put it out a couple weeks ago. I checked it yesterday and it had 770 pictures on it!! I was pretty happy with the quality, considering I only gave about 79 dollars for it. The camera was set up overlooking our mineral lick. Here a some samples of the pictures. Coons a plenty!! Can you find the turkey in this one? "You lookin' at me?" You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out... Nice Tom, see you in a month Five deer here if you look close

Guys, I can't remember what the brand was, I only know it was not a name brand.
I will try to find the box at home and let you know exactly what it was.
Menards had them on sale around Christmas time and I got one with some Christmas money I had to blow.
To tell you the truth, I wasn't expecting much from it, but I was very surprised and very pleased when I looked at my first batch.

I found the box. It is put out by a company called "Wildview". It is 2.0 megapixels. It was 79 bucks at Menards during Christmas season. I don't know if they carry them year 'round or not, I doubt it. I just might have to buy another one or two this year.

That is the culprit.
Looks like I got a pretty good deal at 79 dollars. Hopefully Menards will have some this year at that price too when they start stocking in some hunting stuff.

I was at Bass Pro in Portage last week and they had 4 of these Wildviews marked down to $69.99. I promise they aren't there now.......All 4 are in my possession....along with an unhappy wife for spending AGAIN at Bass pro hahaha!

Wildview....never used it. How many pics were blanks or did you even have any fals triggers. What type of memory card did you use? Can it take videos or is it an IR cam as well?

lymanl3,
I don't get a lot of false triggers. Some pictures are a little light sensitive when the sun is low in the sky, but overall, I can't complain at all for the quality of shots it gives me. I have a some more pictures I will put up here soon.
The card I am using is a 512MB Kingston brand.
