Looks like a squirrel to me, just really close to the camera. But on the other hand grey foxes can climb trees I hear.

if its a squirrel ,its a big one, i used to see rabbitts and chipmunks and ground squirrels back there, now you walk back there and you dont see or hear anything, thats why i figured it was a gray fox, i think hes been eating good .sucks too ,just got the rabbitt population going good and now it seems its back to zero.

Red fox can't climb trees. I say its a grey fox. Not really shaped like a squirrel tail.

im almost betting money its a fox,my wife saw him yesterday in the road carrying a rabbit and we saw him in the road again this eve.around 4.30 .little bugger is not shy and gets around at all times of the day.
