Here is a picture from Woodmaster's trail camera. Hopefully it is good enough for you all to see the ears on her. Ticks? Tumors? Warts? What?

Some of the deer we have shot in Harrison County have these warts on their faces. I can't find any pics in my photobucket but will post the pics if I find them.

They are ticks! I have this pic and if ya look close enough you can see them on this doe's ears also.

They are ticks! I have this pic and if ya look close enough you can see them on this doe's ears also. Thanks for the pic. I figured ticks, since the hair is thinner & the blood vessels are closer to the surface on backside of their ears.

Five bucks those sores we saw on that buck were old tick bites.

a good friend of mine was fortunate enough to harvest a buck in Kentucky last year that was still in full velvet. The antlers were loaded with ticks, it was unbelievable.

we had a dog one time that got a scratch on his ear, after about a week his ears looked like the first pic. I call them deer flies but he had a lot of biting flies arround his ears it looked bad then we got him inside for a week and let them heal. But the pic above is almost a match to what we saw in the dog.
