Have a trail cam uses 6 AA batteries = 9V, I need to know if anyone on here can tell me what size resistor to use with a 12V battery to drop it to 9V ?
I can experiment but thought I would ask first. I want to use a couple of rechargeable 6Volt batteries in series and drop the voltage to 9volts. I use to know the answer but has been 20 years since I have played around with the electronics.
Thanks.... ;D

Ayep talking too myself seriously I figured out the problem I was asking about in my previous post above. Simple way = use 12 volt battery (lawn mower, ect..) go to RS, WW, or KM and buy a simple voltage adapter they sell for your car/truck to play other things on that only use 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 or 12 volts. Hook it to the battery pick the 9 volt plug, hook to trail cam and wallah, wallah it's done. Should last 3 or more weeks before a recharge is needed, maybe longer. Some times one can't see the trees for the forest ;D
