I'm going to do my best to resist the urge to shoot this buck if he comes by. I'd really like to see him grow up another year.

I'd be happy to come take that deer off your hands so you won't have to fight that "urge" ;D Hey, what can I say, I'm a giver! ;D ;D Nice deer!

jstalljohn - That picture was taken on my trail camera that I have on the west side of the state ... Lake County I believe No bucks of that size in Steuben County. In all seriousness, I've got three on the wall already in this guy's class. There is no way to get a 140's or 150's deer on the wall if I don't let him walk. Most of the guys around me would pass this deer up too. With any luck he'll make someone (maybe me) a nice trophy in 2006. If I shoot him this year, it will be with a video camera, not a gun or a bow. But I've got to admit it would be tempting at 20 yards broadside with a bow in hand.
