I use a Trailspy digital and had used a Moultrie 35 mm until it gave up the ghost. The Moultrie was a pain even before it finally quit working. The Trailspy has some good and some bad features. The good, is that the camera is removable and stand alone so it has dual uses. The pictures are of good quality as well. The bad, is that it is very slow to trigger and it uses a lot of batteries in cold weather. I just ordered a Cuddeback digital but I haven't tried it yet. Natchezss.com has the old models for $270 and the newest model for $319. www.natchezss.com/

I have the camtrakker and i love it but i am thinking about going to digital pretty soon. Not sure what i will get yet. But it will be a while and i will have plenty of time to investigate.
camtrakker 35 mm runs $429 rather expensive but well worth it. It takes great pictues and is easy to use.

If you are thinking digital, I can recommend the TrailMac. I have two of the 2004 units. Their new 2005 unit has an Olympus 4.0 MP digital camera that you can also remove and use as a stand alone. I like the odd shape and small size of the housing which makes it a little easier to hide from thieves. www.trailmac.com/features.php

The Olympus D425 is a $150 camera all by itself.
That is a very nice trail camera unit..

I use a "lokata cam", made by a fella here in Georgia, it has an Olympus 380 camera. My 35 mm that I used for a long time was a Highlander, that they don't make any longer. The digital is the way to go IMO Here are some of my albums, the critter trails were taken with the trail cams the others were taken with an Olympus, 10X digitals community.webshots.com/user/leod200

Neat shots, Leo..
Thanks for sharing
That black coyote looks like a devil dog for sure.
Have you ever laid eyes on him during season?
That would be a heck of a trophy..

My Cuddeback finally arrived and I haven't had time to check it for photos yet but I have to say I'm very impressed so far. It is easily the most well thought out trail camera I have tried yet.

I have the Leaf River w/ the LCD screen. I bought it last summer and have had great luck with it. I've heard complaints about the slow trigger speed by others. That may be the case, I guess I can't really comment on that as I seem to get a lot of pictures. I generally point it down a trail that deer are using so that they trigger it on the way to the area. So far I have been very happy with the camera. Here is an example of the quaility of photos.

hey mbogo and spc, are you guys liking your new cuddeback? thanks turkey scout I'm loving the ease of use and setup of my cuddeback but I'll be darned if I can get a deer in front of it. Mine is the older model (1.3 Mega pixels) and the pics are slightly grainy but still pretty good. It is also very sensitive as I have gotten pics of birds flying by. I will post some photos as soon as I can get a deer to cooperate.

I have one made by a guy from Missouri called sho-me game cams. I love it, I know the guy from another web site. It's a digital using a Sony Cybershot camera.
