WW - I have 30 copies of this great Treestand Safety Video headed my way compliments of Big Dog Treestands ( bigdogtreestands.com/ ) .
I would like to offer copies to Hunting Education and Bowhunting instructors first and then open it to the general membership.
If you want a copy for instructing students post here and then PM me your mailing address. These are free of charge compliments of Big Dog Treestands and WWW.Hunting-Indiana.com.
Thanks....
WWThe Latest in Treestand Hunting SafetySince January 1999, the NBEF has worked with the Treestand Manufacturers Association (TMA) and AWP Education Group in developing treestand safety protocol and to promote safe treestand hunting. Through the support of TMA members and aggressive national marketing, the NBEF's "Safe Treestand Hunting" video has become the national standard in treestand safety education. The latest revision is by far the most comprehensive treatment of elevated stand safety to date. The most significant and newest feature to this video is that it addresses the issue of self-rescue. The educational information provided on self-rescue will increase the likelihood of reducing serious injury to elevated stand users if a fall should occur while tethered to a tree.

That sounds like the one we teach with now. It is very good information. The only problem is it does carry on for some time going over the same things a few times. While that is needed to help people learn, it makes it tough to keep the interest of the class.
