When I was in high school back in the mid 80's, I used to make a lot of beer, er I mean soda money, from trapping. I love it! I haven't done it for years tho. The low fur prices doesn't bother me as much as the high fuel prices and lack of time. I'm glad to see they are offering education for aspiring trappers. Trapping comes with a HUGE amount of responsibility! I think it's a good primer for youngsters to see what the working world is like. Day in and day out, your traps have to be run no matter how cold, muddy, or tired you may be. You owe it to the animals you trap to keep their suffering to a minimum. So it's just like having to go to work ever day. Great sport!

you guys should attend some of these classes, bet you would become trappers in short order if you did.
