I would love to become a hunter ed instructor. How do you do it? I was asked by my county CO way back when. Not too sure how you go about it now. Hotshot is an instructor. PM him and ask. OR Ask the Conservation Officer in that forum. Good luck and God bless you for volunteering..

Becoming an instructor is pretty simple. If you haven't already taken a hunter education class you'll need to take one. Just score 90 or above on the test and fill out an application. Give the completed application to your county conservation officer, or send it to your district law enforcement office.

Thanks Jcc, where do you get the applications? I had a class and scored above 90% so I'm good to go!

Contact your county conservation officer. When and where did you take your H.E. class? If you can contact the instructor he can get the paperwork for you. OR, just contact your district law enforcement office. I'll help all I can but I will need more to go on than your screen name.
you can email me direct at info@jccea.com
