What is really needed is for some company or someone to develop an economical engine that uses Hydrogen Fuel Cells to power a car. Like I've always said, if they can develope all sorts of gadgets for cell phone, why can't they put all that good "Brain Power" to work developing and come up with something besides oil, Ethanol, or bio. Fuel, to power cars.

We just might see Nuclear Power plant very soon. I heard on the News, last evening, that there is renewed interest in building Nuke Power Plants. I always though they should build them in the Wilds of Canada away from populated areas, and this should provide enough power for All of North America, without greenhouse gas emissions & other pollution.

With the stultifying regulatory hurdles and insane costs associated with building a nuke plant you'll more likely see more oil refineries than nuke plants in the foreseeable future. Building an oil refinery is also a stultifying task, both from the cost and regulatory angles, but at least the waste can be dealt with safely and they're a lot cheaper to build and operate than nuke plants. Cost inevitably wins in the energy game.

Guys, if enough Americans got together and picked an oil company to boycott, you would see very reasonable gas prices by that company before to long. The people still have the Power, we just have to get together and use it.

You know what really sucks ... look at who all this Oil money is supporting ... Chavez (SP? who care how his names spelled) and Iran. If they didn't have oil money than their states would collapse. I voted for Bush, but he hasn't shown any leadership when it comes to energy Independence. You can't blame him totally, didn't we get a warning about this in the 70's??? But Bush is in charge now and he hasn't done Jack.
