Well I love the one on the left, but I am afraid that there is not enough light for me to see thru my scope to shot either one. But the one on the right is the best shoot for your money.

The Hanson buck on the right....but only because I'm looking through the scope and that looks like the better shot! Can't wait on these deer!

...... There's the meat factor... the non-typical appears to be younger. What do you think? I hope your joking.....you can taste the difference between a possible 4 1/2 and a 6 1/2 year old buck? Looks to me they are at least that old. Please tell me your just kidding around.

I'm basically a meat hunter and I intend to feed the family with whatever I shoot, so nice antlers are a bonus. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I would shoot an old nasty looking deer with a monster rack. I suppose if there was several deer already in the freezer, and I still had my buck tag, I probably would. Hmmm. Has anybody ever seen an old, nasty looking deer with a monster rack? I never have, only old nasty looking does. Sorry about the rambling.

I'd spend so much time trying to decide, they'd probably both get away.

The non-typical buck was found dead apparently of natural causes and reportedly had a body to match the rack. It's just a guess but the non-typical was probably at least a couple of years older than the typical.

I would guess that the Hanson rack is on a body of a 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 year old deer. That is what I meant by that post. I know I couldn't tell the difference between a spike and 6 1/2 year old...they are all tasty to me.
