Nothing yet - this is the rut period isn’t it!? Just saying this for the discussion value, but...Deer and Deer Hunting doesn`t show even the seeking phase beginning until November 9th-ish, with the chasing phase beginning November 13th-ish, and actual breeding beginning November 21st-ish. This is based on the Charles Alsheimer hypothesis that it is the combination of both photoperiod, and, moon phase that kicks does into estrous. Sat an all day sit yesterday in Sullivan county & saw 3 doe & 2 spikes . No chasing . I poked around abut this morning & saw 1 scrape & 1 small tree rubbed . I’m thinking they are just getting going , hopefully this week off pays off !!

I am getting ready for a week long hunting trip week after this and I am washing everything in no scent pods & then drying with no scent dryer sheets. I do this at the start of every season, but as season goes on I find my self relying on spray only , today got me wondering if I should spray when I get home & run thru the dryer with a no scent sheet . Would this be better than spaying in the morning & being wet ?

My radishes are doing well in both plots , but 1 turnip plot got burned out . I am going to throw down some oats & winter wheat in that area .

Well I pulled it off , Saturday & Sunday I got 4 food plots in the ground ! Saturday cut down tress & ran bush hog along with disc everything. Sunday ran disc over everything again then ran a drag over it . Planted , groundhog radishes, purple top turnips , clover , chicory. Funny thing is now praying for some rain 🤔

I have it all put together & sighted in . This is definitely an upgrade from my invader ! I am mostly impressed with what little room it takes up . I feel confident taking a 60 yard shot where as before I would say 40 yards with my invader . The Accu draw pro is the main reason for upgrading & it didn’t let me down . I would only give 1 con & that is the cocking crank handle is not attach & will need to keep close tabs on it . Accurate & quiet! No regrets here , glad I jumped on Father’s Day deal ! Thanks Woody !!

So this year hasn’t been a normal plant for me so kinda thinking about my fall plant in a couple weeks. I have an acre of radish 5lb that I know is going in , but was wondering if I mix clover in if it would help me in the spring if it’s wet again or should I wait & frost seed ? What ratio if I mix it in & has anyone tried this ? I have some Alfalfa I want to put in also in a different plot and am thinking wait till spring to plant it . Thoughts & suggestions welcome

That’s what I’m hoping for is to squeeze turnip & radishes in by Labor Day . I got my health issues under control & the wife has hit a rough road , go to get more vertigo treatment in morning. I received my new Father’s Day deal on the Horton RDX & can’t wait to shoot it ! Come on Fall !!!

All the spring rain had my property to wet to plant anything. So I’ve been patiently waiting to get plots in . I thought the 4 days I had off work over the 4th of July I would get them in , but my wife had other plans and had a vertigo Attack doing yoga . So we have waited till this week for her to get her crystals rolled back into place . The night before she goes to doctor she falls into hole & breaks her right ankle watering her flowers. I don’t know at this point if anything will get planted as now I’m the head of a bed & breakfast! Lol

MetalX is another option that pays well for scrap . I will say it’s worth shopping for best prices before you go . I’m not sure if they put paying prices on their web pages or not ?

I thought he had trespassed also , should be a lot bigger fine to capture other poachers attention. IMO

I have lost all hope to get a summer early fall plot in ! My clover is getting hit really hard as there isn’t much planted around my area . I will just have to ride it out & come up with an early fall late winter plan . I’m all healed up from my rotator cuff surgery & plan on hunting harder than ever before this year ! ☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️

Well even though I’m not a Father , I pulled the trigger on this & the case last night . My wicked ridge has served me well , but after shoulder surgery I have been looking to up grade to the accudraw pro . I like the idea of loading it once I’m in the stand instead of before I climb up . Thanks guys for helping me with answering questions about this purchase !!

I am going to pull the trigger on this deal . My wicked ridge invader has served me well & Ten Point customer service has been 5 star over the years I used them . What sold me on this is the compact size, crank cocking mechanism & being made by Ten Point . Do you know anyone looking for an invader with hard case ? Lol & Thanks for posting this deal !

What case would be needed for this crossbow? Also is this crossbow factory bore sighted like the wicked ridge & ten point ?
